I cannot claim to know a lot about the affairs of the world – about war, about foreign policy, about the historic relations between Russia and Ukraine and the economic interests tied into the balance of the rest of the world. What I do know is consciousness and particularly human consciousness.
And from that, I do know that we all have a Putin that lives inside us.
The love of power is what our current reality is built on, and how it is maintained. Anyone who claims to be above or except from the power dynamics that are currently displayed in our world has not looked deep enough within to see the truth of their being.
Most people today live in separation from the Oneness that human consciousness is – even when they know it exists. When you have truly touched the essence of Oneness, you know that there is no separation. What exists in you, exists in me. What exists in me, exists in you. Reality is held in the arms of the darkest and the lightest expression of consciousness we experience on this Earth. And it is all held inside us – whether we see it or not. When you journey deep enough, you meet it all within. And you’ll know that even though you will not start a war in your lifetime, its expression lives within you as it lives in Putin.
What varies is the playing field we get to play out our inner world. The roles we are allocated within the whole. Putin’s material resources are vaster, his playing field is bigger, and it has a greater expression of power with an impact that is more noticeable to the human eye.
But what Putin displays, is playing out in both subtle and not so subtle expressions of consciousness in all corners of lived life every day. The need for control. The need of power for security and status. The fight to be right. The exhaustion of resources. The pointing fingers at others. The disregard for the deeper existence that bind us together. And not just in the traditional chambers of powers, but in all corners of lived life.
Much of it is subtle, it is deeply ingrained in our everyday life and hardly noticeable to the mental structures that govern most people’s reality. A lot of it is screaming in our face every day as we scroll social media. Often it is translated into behavior and language perceived as justified and normal because it sees itself as a part of the duality that is superior to the other half.
Does this mean we cannot judge war as wrong? That we cannot say that it is less wrong to hurt just one than the many? I cannot answer that for you, but I can say this.
Personally, I stand for peace – my entire life is a practice of peace – and exactly because of that, I cannot judge anything that expresses itself in our reality as right or wrong. However, I can at all times respond to what it awakens within me, allow myself to experience fully what it is without judgment, and let it move me into a deeper essence of authentic inner peace and balance so that I can express what wishes to come through me and awaken in me. So that I can support the balance of the whole.
We all do what we are moved to do at this time. For some it is to demonstrate. For others it is to collect clothes. Some pray. Others are busy handling the practical challenges they are met with. Others try to do their best to continue navigate the life that is theirs. Many don’t even have the privilege to even concern themselves with feeling anything about a war that is playing out in some corner of the world. I know in my heart that all of it matters.
For me, I am moved to love. It is not something I chose – it is what has descended on me in unprecedented ways. It brings deeper remembrance of all that is One. That separation is an illusion. I cannot stand with one without standing with the other. I have to stand with both.
And as I do, I embrace deeper the Dark as well as the Light – and see more clearly how they are equally playing within all of us. We cannot fully have light in the world as long as we do not embrace the darkness within. The light is lifted out of the dark.
And I am moved to remind those of you who have the privilege, the resources and the means available to journey into the depth of your being to touch and heal the parts that experience themselves as separate and therefore in pain and judgment with all that is playing out. And as you do, you do not just heal yourself, but you heal on behalf of everyone else. Opening the door within you to the inner realm of paradox and love enable the door opening for another. Because we are one in consciousness. And to do that, you need to meet your inner Putin. When you redeem him, you restore the light.
