A common theme has transpired these past weeks with the people, I have worked with. Despite different circumstances, there has been a shared need to further dissolve the mental structures and surrender deeper to the invisible forces available. Our inner knowing, the underlying intelligence of life, to the energies we are supported by and surrounded by. And I am feeling it too. It has caused me to question the validity of all I know to be true, and let it go in order to experience the new.
Many are called these days to release the structures of mind. Our mental structures help us make sense of the world, which provides a feeling of solidity and control that keep us from feeling the fear and helplessness that we all carry deep inside due to past and present suffering.
They are structures we have built up over many years, and most people have on their journey of self-discovery re-constructed these mental structures to create a more supportive story about themselves and life.
However, at a certain point, we need to let them go if we wish to come into a greater inner potential. We need to let go of the stories, of the need to make meaning that arise from the mental plane. They are the scaffolding that hold us – our consciousness – together, but they are also the barriers that keep us from deep connection with our inner Self and the deeper intelligence of Life – whatever we choose to call that.
We can never escape them. And we don’t want to either. They are intrinsic to the duality we need to experience ourselves, and to learn and grow, and to give form to the ALL. But we can shift the power balance, and stop relying on the mental structures to make sense of life, and start to rely on the experience, on the moment to moment intuitive guidance, on the inner knowing. On the access to All.
As we do, we start to live the unknown, we start to enter a feeling of bodily weightlessness, which I can only imagine simulate being in outer space. We start to feel a new inner freedom as we regain contact to the creative power we have to shape our reality. A deeper sense of peace, love, grace and joy can emerge.
However, it is not easy when the mental structures dissolve. It can feel extremely scary and like we are losing our sanity. Nothing makes sense – which means the inner mental structures we have relied on, are no longer useful – and nothing new has yet taken its place. We are left in the unknown that we always live in, but do not experience because of the reliance on our mental structures. And we have not yet built a strong enough confidence in the process, in the emptiness, in trust, to fully embrace the unknown.
This is where a lot of people can get stuck, regress, project outward into the world because the intensity can get too overwhelming. Many get lured in by spiritual dogma, spiritual bypassing and spiritual craziness that create new mental structures that are just more ‘eatable’ illusions still keeping one from the true Divine.
We can learn to go through these transformational processes with greater ease, clarity, and lessen the fear of the discomfort a little. Ironically, we can use the mind to dissolve the mind. We can work with the mind, by shifting our sense-making into the process itself. We can give meaning to the principles of transforming consciousness to work with it. It is alchemical magic, which helps us regain a new sense of control and power that arise from the ability to surrender our old need for control and power. It teaches us the power of choice, consciousness and creation.
If we want to continue realizing a greater inner capacity and experience of Life, we need to go through these processes again and again. And each time we do, we can let ourselves more easily be carried through life. I’m here to support your journey, and share with you the tools to navigate your transformational path, and walk with greater confidence into the unknown.
